A website is made up of a combination of files.  When someone comes to your website they need to be able to access those files.  When we talk about hosting, we’re talking about space on a server that stores all of your files so people from all over the world can access them when they visit your website.

There is a monthly or yearly fee associated with hosting (depending on which company you use).

• Monthly Updates – Website software is updated constantly to improve both safety and performance.  We include the cost of monthly security and performance updates in the price of our hosting to ensure you’ll always be running the most up-to-date version of your website software available.
• Daily Website Backups – We understand the peace of mind that comes along with knowing your data is backed up.  That’s why we take daily database backups for the last month and weekly full site backups (including your files and database) for the last month.  And we store these backups on Amazon Servers all over the world.
• Know Your Digital Neighbors – Since we have our own virtual private server, we can ensure your website isn’t sharing space with any shady or risky websites.  Knowing your digital neighbors helps reduce the risk you face of someone else bringing down your website.
