TED.com is a place for anyone with lots of curiosity, a desire to learn, and not a lot of free time.  The website first emerged to organize a series of conferences on the latest ideas in technology, but evolved to include videos of the talks that were given at the events.  Today, there are over 900 talks streaming online with new additions every week as well as multiple new tools features of the website that help spur the spreading of great ideas.  But don’t worry, even if you are not a technophile you’ll find a ton of topics that will likely pique your curiosity.

As I’m sure most of you know, on the evening of May 22 a tornado moved through Joplin, MO creating widespread devastation and killing 153 people (as of the writing of this post), making it one of the deadliest tornados in U.S. history.  Nearly three weeks after the tornado, we went to Joplin to work with Rebuild Joplin in an effort to document not only the devastation, but also the tremendous outpouring of compassion as Joplin begins to rebuild and move forward.
