It’s time to celebrate—the Fight Colorectal Cancer website has launched!
Fight Colorectal Cancer (Fight CRC) empowers and activates a community of patients, fighters and champions to push for better policies and to support research, education and awareness for all those touched by colon and rectal cancers. Bold and determined, they are fighting in five main ways: offering patient resources, supporting new research, advocating to improve policy, spreading the word and raising funds.
We created a responsive website for Fight CRC with a strong and vibrant homepage that matches the organization’s action-based approach and features their many ways to get involved.
Because so much of the fight depends on finding and sharing information, Fight CRC has a large collection of free guides, magazines, podcasts, webinars and more. We built a filterable library where website visitors can easily sort through resources by topic area and then go to individual pages for each tool. Fight CRC can collect contact information through the download process, and visitors can give a thumbs up or thumbs down to indicate if the resource was helpful, a feature that’s been included across the site.
We also developed a template that allows them to create microsites for campaigns and special projects. The template ensures that each microsite matches the main website in terms of branding and design while still being flexible in terms of content. Using this approach, the One Million Strong microsite offers a fun and story-filled platform to feature the many faces of the fight and call people to action.
In support of their efforts to engage the public and build awareness, we added our Volunteer Management plugin to the website. Visitors can view and sign-up for one-time and recurring opportunities, and Fight CRC staff can manage and contact volunteers as needed.
